They bring together faculty and students in engineering, earth sciences, biology, social sciences, law, business and other fields to help find and advance solutions to our major environmental, sustainability and energy challenges. They each have a number of associated centers and programs designed to help accelerate innovative interdisciplinary and solutions-oriented work in these areas.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As new programmatic elements appear as new fundraising possibilities, the director will take the lead in submitting those plans for evaluation through the “Fundraising Approval and Priority Setting Process.” In general, the director will help identify and articulate the needs within the program. S/he will work with the Office of Prospect Development and fellow field staff to identify valid prospects. S/he will assist in the formulation of strategies for the cultivation and solicitation of prospects, including work with the members of the Principal Gifts staff to help conceptualize and activate solicitations for transformational gifts.
