The Student Services Coordinator in the School of Engineering, Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD) reports to the Student and Client Services Manager at the Stanford Center for Professional Development. This role is responsible for undertaking Professional/Executive education student registration, coordinating and supervising the processing of student application and enrollment documentation, performing data base searches and advising students who are interested in enrolling in Stanford Professional/Executive education programs through SCPD.
 
Stanford Professional/Executive education students are globally based working professionals such as engineers, technical managers and corporate decision makers that participate in a range of online and on-campus graduate programs that upon completion leads to a Stanford professional credential.
 
The role will require the ability to provide excellent customer service to Professional/Executive program participants throughout the duration of their study. The successful candidate must be able to develop positive working relationships with the SCPD Professional/Executive portfolio management team, Stanford Professional/Executive education partners and company education coordinators to ensure quality student services.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
BA degree preferred or the equivalent in educational and client services experience. Exceptional interpersonal skills, 4 years plus experience working in a professional environment with demonstrated ability to handle complex or difficult situations with tact and diplomacy; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organization skills with attention to detail is a must. Proven ability to work both independently as well as part of a busy team and to work cooperatively with associated SCPD partners and departments. 
 
This role requires the prioritization of tasks in a busy work environment with frequent interruptions and multiple deadlines using sound judgment, discretion adaptability and creative problem-solving. Knowledge and experience of student services systems, customer relationship management tools as well as Microsoft office software applications is essential
