The Office of the President is seeking a highly motivated Senior Administrative Associate / Correspondence Writer to compose and edit written communication on behalf of the President and the President’s Office. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff with a dotted reporting line to the Executive Assistant to the President, the candidate will have strong analytical skills and sound judgment. The Senior Administrative Associate / Correspondence Writer must display a high level of professionalism, diplomacy, and flexibility while handling sensitive issues and maintaining confidentiality in a complex and demanding environment.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven success in writing for publication in print, web, and other platforms.
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, and oral communication skills with proven ability to present, write, edit, and organize thoughts in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner with exceptional attention to detail.
- Thorough command of the English language and grammar.
- Professional demeanor and ability to deal with a variety of personalities with a responsive customer-centric approach.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasional work on evenings and weekends.
- This position is based on the Stanford main campus with the option of telecommuting/hybrid schedule subject to operational needs.
The expected pay range for this position is $xx to $xx per annum / hour.
