The Program Associate provides administrative and program supportas a member of a central administrative team, which will include coordinationof projects/events, managing calendars, occasionally staffing the front desk,drafting correspondence, and other general administrative tasks. In addition, this position will support theefforts of residentially-based advising directors and the Athletic AcademicResource Center.
Associate'sdegree and at least three years of relevant experience, or combination of educationand relevant experience
· Highlyproficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite(desirable: experience using Oracle financials, calendaring software,PeopleSoft)
· Experience with event logistics
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated planning and project management ability
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to workwith a high level of accuracy AND flexibility
· Ability to be sensitive and discreet in dealing with confidentialmatters and materials
· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills – must be a teamplayer
